White flag

Those steps forward I once thought I'd taken has taken me right back to the start. I'm getting so tired of climbing. These hills and ruts to everyone else become my mountains and trenches. I don't know how much longer I can keep hiking for. As once mentioned, it might be time to throw in the white flag. They say giving up is never the answer, but lately, it sounds tempting.
